Today's Lesson: Speed up your Player Check-In Process using the Batch Check-In feature.

Batch Check-In is a little optional feature in your StarterHut Tee Sheet that can significantly increase check-in time for a lot of you.  The idea is that if the player is simply checking in (they are not purchasing additional items and do not need to pay you at that time), this feature is for you.  This could be for a member that doesn't pay for green fees or a customer with charging privileges and the fees are charged to their account.

Turn it ON:
From StarterHut Tee Sheet, Click on Admin-Setting-Option-POS Integration and Check “Use Batch CheckIn”.

On the StarterHut Tee Sheet, Book a Player.  When you click the Player Cell to check them in, you will have a new button called Batch CheckIn on the screen:

Once you click Batch Check-In, the Cell is marked as Paid instantly with the $ symbol and you go on to your next player.

 

Behind the scenes:
This writes the sale to a batch. Next time you (or anyone) open the POS screen you will see a "Processing Batch Sales" message. That actually charges the account if there is anything to charge.

In this case, if I look up my account record and view the sale, it looks like this:
